Bob: week starting Dec 8

Math:

1. 3 pages daily in your math book. Check with your dad if you need help.
2. play 3 games of Sudoku from the Squidoo lens and 3 games from your section of your choice (leave comments on the lens telling me what you played, when, and, if applicable, what your scores/times were)

History: create a timeline comparing the lives and voyages of:

1. Amerigo Vespucci
2. Cabeza DeVaca
3. Magellan
4. Cortez
5. Columbus

Language: write daily on your blog. I will check for spelling, punctuation, and basic grammar. I will put corrections in your comments. Check and correct your work as needed.

• Monday: write 50 word minimum descriptive essay (describe something in at least 50 words) you can pick your own or I can give you ideas
• Tuesday: write two paragraphs about your favorite holiday
• Wednesday: retell the Christmas story in your own words
• Thursday: write five paragraphs describing something about yourself
• Friday: write 50 words on whatever you would like

Handwriting: copy the Christmas story neatly on notebook paper (cursive)

Bible: memorize Psalm 2:1-4

Geography:

1. learn the names, locations and capitals of the original 13 states
2. do the US puzzle that I have
3. do the US puzzle on the Ben's guide link from the Squidoo lens

Science: read the chapter on the sun from our Apologia book (be prepared to answer questions)
