Math: Chapter 1 lessons 8-11


Grammar: define "noun" and "verb"

Lit: Read pgs 14- 26 and answer questions

Writing: With the same prerequisites as last week, write on this topic:
Describe your yard.
Rewrite your essay from last week correcting the errors.

History: Read Chapter Two


Science: Read pgs 19- 33 and answer questions in Section Reviews 1.4, 1.5 and 2.1


Bible: Memorize Psalm 2 :1-6
Read Proverbs 2, illustrate a verse

Geo: continue working here and here. Choose your first country that you want to study. I have a form for you to fill out as you do your research.


Fine Arts: choose a musician, composer and band on which to do your lapbook. Start preliminary research.

Start reading: Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne


Writing: Handwrite one half page on the topic:
Who is your favorite author and why?
And hand it in on or before Friday. I will grade it on grammar, spelling, punctuation, and handwriting.

History: Read Intro and chapter one of Story of the World
Start Book of Centuries

Science: Read “how to use this text” and pgs 2-18 and answer marked questions in Section Reviews 1, 2, and 3.

What you need for school...

Lizzie:

A notebook for each subject, (10 small notebooks) or 2 five-subject notebooks with a subject designated for each section, or some combination of the two.

A folder with blank notebook paper and copy paper for Bible or a sketch-book from Dollar Tree.

Pencil, eraser, and pen

A sketch-book from Dollar Tree for Geography, or a binder/folder to keep your maps in.

A library card and lots and lots of chocolate! :)
